A new committee of Prothom Alo Bondhushava has been announced at Gono Bishwabidyalay.
The announcement was made on Saturday morning (May 9) during a program held at the university’s IQAC Conference Hall.
In the newly formed 15-member committee, Nusrat Jahan Jhidny has been selected as convener, while Rajiul Islam Shanto has been chosen as member secretary. Other members of the committee were also introduced at the event.
Several guests spoke at the event, including Professor Dr. Md. Fuad Hossain, Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences; Prof. Dr. Nilay Kumar Dey, an adviser to the Gono Bishwabidyalay Bondhushava, and Barrister Shihab Uddin Khan. Nure Alam, Vice-President of the Prothom Alo Bondhushava Central Committee, also attended the event.
The speakers praised the Bondhushava for promoting volunteerism, honesty, and creativity among students.
Teachers and students from all departments of the university attended the event.
