Guest Columns
Guest columns may be submitted by members of the Gono Bishwabidyalay community, including students, alumni, faculty, staff, administrators, and parents of GB students.
A strong guest column should present a clear argument supported by reliable evidence. All submissions are reviewed by the editorial team, and publication decisions are made at the editors’ discretion.
We do not publish content that:
- Contains discriminatory or hateful views
- Comes from individuals or organizations known for discriminatory behavior
- Makes unsupported claims
- Unfairly targets individuals
- Relies mainly on speculation rather than evidence
Accepted articles may require revisions. Editors from the opinion section, the copy desk, or the Editor-in-Chief may suggest changes before publication. Authors will be consulted regarding major edits and are expected to work with editors during the revision process.
Additional Information
All submissions must be original and unpublished.

Before writing a full draft, consider emailing the Editor-in-Chief with your idea. We can help you refine your focus and offer feedback. Publication decisions are made only after a complete draft has been submitted.
2. Read Our Opinion Section
Reading previously published columns will help you understand our style and expectations.
3. Follow the Word Limit
Space is limited, and we rarely publish articles longer than 700 words.
